Brazilian Technical Cooperation - Agriculture, Food Security and Social Policies

In the last decade, Brazil has formalized national commitment to reducing hunger and implemented policies and institutional instruments to achieve that goal. Moreover, it has strongly supported production from family-based agriculture and family fishing, and has developed models of sustainable development for the exploitation of natural resources, especially for forest, fishery and environmental management. Thus, the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), through the cooperation projects it has developed, has enabled the dissemination of technical knowledge from Brazilian institutions in their fields of work.

In this context, the Brazilian Government, through ABC, presented the program entitled "Brazilian Technical Cooperation - Agriculture, Food Security and Social Policies" to be offered to developing countries
---
The program consists of 24 courses designed to share Brazil's experience in the formulation, implementation and execution of public policy in the thematic areas related to agriculture, civil defense and food security, such as the environment, fighting forest fires, fisheries and aquaculture, rural extension, school meals, policies to fight hunger and gender equality policies.
