- have excellent undergraduate academic record with a First Class Honours or its equivalent in the area of physics, astrophysics, ICT or electronic engineering;
- meet the Curtin’s level of English language proficiency requirements;
- and have excellent academic references

The scholarship consists of a stipend valued at $30,000pa plus a tuition fee waiver for a period of three years with a possibility of a six-month extension.
