Indonesian SMA Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN)

​You must be able to provide Year 10 and 11 Rapor results in SMA UAN curriculum if you are applying under this qualification. If not, please check here and submit your application that matches your high school qualification.

Minimum Requirement to Apply
A good pass in SMA UAN if already completed high school. 

Students studying in Grade 12 can apply with Year 10 and 11 Rapor results.  A score of at least 8.0 or 80 in most subjects is required. If admitted, students must produce SMA UAN to complete the application. Failing which, the admission decision will be revoked.

Direct Admission
Medallists (Gold, Silver or Bronze) of International Science Olympiads Competitions in Biology (IBO), Chemistry (IChO), Physics (IPhO), Mathematics (IMO), Informatics (IOI), Astronomy (IAO) and Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) will be considered for admission more favourably to programmes related to their field of achievement. Admission to programmes not closely related to the field of achievement will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Interview may be conducted before the decision of admissions is made. Medalists applying for admission to Medicine, Maritime Studies, Sports Science Management, non-Engineering and non-Science programmes are not exempted to sit for NTU Entrance Examination.

NTU Entrance Examination (NTU EE)
Required before admission decision can be made.  NTU EE is on invitation only.  No separate application is required.  Students who have previously sat for the exam will not be invited again and the application may not be considered further.

Note:
1. Admission is highly competitive, especially for non-citizens, due to limited places available.  The admission point varies from year to year and between different programmes.  Meeting the minimum requirements to apply does not guarantee admission to any of the programmes in NTU.

2. The primary factor in admission decision is the high school academic performance.  

3. The admission decision will be determined by the performance in the University Entrance Examinations.

ASEAN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INDONESIA

The ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced (GCE A) Level (or equivalent) certificate.

The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

Students from Indonesia are welcome to apply for the ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia to enter Singapore schools at the Secondary Three level. Candidates who are not short-listed for the scholarships may be considered for the Merit Awards.

ELIGIBILITY

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for the scholarship:

• Nationals of Indonesia
• Born between 2000 to 2002
• Sat for 2016 SMP 3 National Final Evaluation Examination (UAN)
• Have done consistently well in school
• Proficiency in English and a good record of participation in co-curricular activities

SMA3 Graduate Fellowship

The Singapore Ministry of Education has established a four-year fellowship scheme for new doctoral students at NTU or NUS who will conduct their research at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Centre (SMART Centre).

The establishment of this Fellowship Programme is intended to attract to NTU and NUS the best and most talented doctoral students from Singapore, the region, and beyond and educate them to be future leaders in science and technology for Singapore and beyond. The Fellowship will provide them with the opportunity to be involved in the strategic research programmes at the SMART Centre and provide them with the opportunity to be co-advised by an MIT faculty member. The student may spend up to six months doing research at MIT.

The SMA3 Graduate Fellowship at SMART provides:

• up to four years of full tuition fees at the student's home university;
• a monthly stipend of S$3,200;
• a scholarly allowance of up to S$12,000 to help cover the expenses associated with a six month research residency at MIT;
• and co-supervision by an MIT and NTU/NUS faculty.

There is no bond associated with this fellowship.

Eligibility: A student must:

• have graduated with an undergraduate degree with first class or second-upper (or equivalent);
• be an incoming new PhD student not currently matriculated;

Merit Scholarships & Study Credit Scheme, Management Development Institute of Singapore

MDIS has announced the Merit Scholarships and the Study Credit Scheme worth SGD 4.00 million for International students, the scholarships and grants will eventually help close to 2,000 international students from across the world.

MDIS Merit Scholarship 2013

The MDIS International Students Merit Scholarship is an initiative aimed at providing high-calibre students with the opportunity to develop to their full potential. It offers scholarships to outstanding students pursuing their studies with MDIS.

The MDIS International Students Merit Scholarship is open to new students seeking a Pre Degree, Degree or Master’s Degree. The scholarship will cover the subsidised portion of the tuition fee payable by International students and the awards are deducted from the last instalment of the tuition fees.

Scholarship Award

Merit Scholarships are available in the following categories:

• Partial scholarships for Master’s Degrees valued at SGD 4,000 each
• Partial scholarships for Bachelor’s Degrees valued at SGD 3,200 each
• Partial scholarships for Pre Degree valued at SGD 500 each

To be eligible to apply, students must:

Tahap 5: Tes Masuk Universitas

1. BII-Maybank Scholarship Luar Negeri:
   Peserta yang lulus tahap wawancara diwajibkan untuk mengikuti tes yang diadakan oleh universitas yang dipilih.
2. BII-Maybank Scholarship Dalam Negeri:
   Sebelum calon penerima mengikuti Tes Psikologi dan Tes Wawancara harus mengirimkan surat penerimaan dari universitas atau bukti tertulis dari pengumuman di media massa atau website resmi SNMPTN http://snmptn.ac.id.

Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship

The Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is a competitive and prestigious scholarship scheme designed to encourage outstanding graduates or final-year students to take their first step towards a leading research career by studying for a PhD at NTU.

Who is eligible?
There is no restriction as to the nationality of candidates but all things being equal, preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.

Eligibility criteria

• You must have a First Class Honours degree or equivalent at Bachelor's level 
• If you have not yet completed your undergraduate degree programme, you will need to furnish documentation from your university that you are on track to get a First Class Honours degree or equivalent

BondThere is no bond attached to the scholarship.

Coverage and award terms

• Full tuition fees
• Monthly stipend of $3,200 * 
• Conference allowance for two major overseas conferences in the 4-year period
• One-time IT allowance of $1500
• Annual grant of $500 for journal subscription or book purchase
