Vocational Training Council (VTC) - Scholarships and Award

Over 300 scholarships / award schemes at a total value of HK$6,000,000 are awarded to VTC outstanding students. The scholarships / award schemes include :

Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship Scheme

This scholarship scheme aims to provide final year full-time students of Higher Diploma courses in the disciplines of Applied Science, Construction, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering with financial assistance to further their studies at universities in the United Kingdom. Students with excellent academic achievements; strong leadership abilities as well as active participation in extra-curricular activities and community service may apply. The scholarship provides generous support that would cover tuition fees, accommodation fees, living expenses and air fares for two academic years. Successful applicants will receive an award of up to ￡20,000 per year.

Scholarships and Prizes from Hong Kong's universities

A number of scholarships and prizes are available from Hong Kong's universities. They are, in general, awarded on the basis of academic performance, and some require recommendations from the school/department/programme.
